Let’s go ahead and dive into our tutorial to setup Conversios Plugin. This WooCommerce plugin integrates Google Analytics – eCommerce tracking and automates end-to-end Google Shopping with dynamic remarketing tags.

Download, Install and Activate – Conversios Plugin in WordPress

Step 1:

Before you start, you will need a WordPress and Google analytics account with the admin level rights to successfully setup the plugin without any hassle.

Once you login to your WordPress account, you will be able to see options: add/ organize / delete plugins.

Next, from the left panel, select the Plugins tab and choose Add New and search for Conversios/ enhanced/ Google analytics tracking / dynamic remarketing/ Google shopping.

Next, click install and activate the WooCommerce plugin. Once the Conversios plugin is activated, you will be able to see the Conversios Plugin added to your left pane automatically.

This confirms the Conversios plugin is successfully activated in your WordPress backend panel.

Authorize the WooCommerce Plugin using your email

Step 2: Click on the Coversios plugin on your left pane. It will take you to the onboarding page to setup the WooCommerce plugin.

Sign in with your email id which has access to Google Analytics, Google ads and Merchant Center. This will take you to the consent page. You will have to click continue to complete the setup.

Integrate your Google Analytics account

Step 3

In this step we will see how to integrate Google Analytics account. The Conversios WooCommerce plugin will auto-fetch the email associated with the Universal Analytics account and GA4 account. The email is the same ID, which you would have submitted earlier. Now you can select the required option (both or individual option) and choose the property ID from the drop down.

You will have an advanced settings option. So, you can add, enable or disable the options based on your store’s requirement.

Enhanced eCommerce tracking – Major metrics with respect to eCommerce will be tracked automatically with the help of plugin. Accordingly, it will be pushed to Google Analytics.

Add gtag.js snippet. It will automatically add a set of predefined fields to your WordPress backend for tracking purposes.

By clicking next, you have successfully integrated your Google Analytics account with the Conversios plugin.

Now, integrate or create your Google Ads account

In this step, let’s see how to integrate your Google ads account. Here, you have two options either you can create a new Google Ads account directly from the plugin or you can use the existing Google ads account by selecting it from the drop down

Option 1: –
Choose your Google ads account from the existing list by selecting the appropriate account.

Option 2: –
By selecting – CREATE NEW, you will get the below pop up where you will have to select send invite. An invite will be sent to your email id (used while setting up the plugin).

Now, you have successfully completed setting up your Google ads account.

Let’s create or integrate your Google Merchant Center account

Let’s see how to integrate your Google Merchant Center account into WooCommerce plugin. Moreover, it is quite similar to setting up the Google ads account in the previous step.
Here, you have two options: you can create a new Google merchant center account directly from the WooCommerce plugin or you can use existing Google Merchant account by selecting it from the drop down.

Option 1:
Choose your Google Merchant account from the existing list by selecting the appropriate account.

Option 2:
By selecting – CREATE NEW, it will take you to a new page where you must fill the below details and select CREATE ACCOUNT

  • Your Website
  • Mention your store name
  • Also, name of the Country

Once the Merchant Center account is created, click on the finish button to complete the setup.

How to Sync products:

Step 5:

In this step, we will see how to sync your products from WooCommerce store to Google Merchant Center.
Select the Google Shopping tab under Conversios Plugin and click the ‘Product Sync’ card.

On the product sync page, click on the Sync New products button.

where we can map the WooCommerce products to their respective product categories. Hence, the options are present in the Merchant center.

Map these products to the relevant category and subcategories in the Merchant Centre and click next.

Furthermore, you will map the product attributes available in WooCommerce to Google Merchant Centre product attributes.

The first five attributes are mandatory to be mapped. In fact, for your convenience the plugin auto fills them.
We have a number of attributes like color, age, gtin, mpin etc. which you can map as per your requirement. With this in mind, we have attributes like shipping, tax, content-language, target country, etc. which we recommend to map as such details are required for Google Shopping campaigns.

Click Product sync. So you can start syncing the products with GMC as below.
